Written exam in January, practical in March each year (partial exemption possible). Fee: ¥17,000. Eligibility: 3+ years working experience at a care facility + completion of practical training, or completion of a 2-year training school program.
Tips for Passing
Many candidates accumulate care facility experience via TIT or SSW routes before sitting the exam. Pass rate is approx. 70–75%.
