About This Residence Status
A program aimed at developing human resources to support the economic development of developing countries. Applications are generally filed after a receiving company is determined; individual applications are basically not possible. Transition to the '育成就労 (Ikusei Shuro)' system is progressing from 2024. Training period is up to 5 years total (Levels 2 and 3 combined).

- Application through a supervising organization or sending organization (individual applications not allowed)
- Development of a technical intern training plan with the receiving company
