How to Obtain
Test content, locations, and schedules differ by field. Many fields allow overseas testing. After passing, obtain the certificate and attach it to application documents. Check the official site of each field's exam authority for details.
Tips for Passing
If you completed TIT 2nd term in the corresponding field, both the skills test and the Japanese language test are waived. Make sure to obtain your completion certificate.
Some fields offer regular testing opportunities overseas (Vietnam, Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia, etc.). Passing before entering Japan makes the residence status application smoother.
